Reservoir Career Women was founded as a way for professional business women of central Mississippi to network and help grow their businesses in a supportive environment. It has since grown as meeting place for ladies in all stages of their lives (college grads, job-seekers, entrepreneurs, and retirees included) to come together and grow interpersonal relationships and develop new friendships.
The advocating of these ladies for each other and the group continues to grow and bless all of us.
Meet the Board
These are the ladies that make up the leadership board for Reservoir Career Women. If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.
Alahna worked in the hospice industry many years ago when she was working as a Community Educator and Volunteer Coordinator then left to pursue other marketing and sales opportunities. She landed in Residential Real Estate sales for over 7 years and thoroughly enjoyed working with buyers and sellers throughout the tri-county area. After a very successful run in real estate, Alahna felt a pull back into hospice work.
Previously Volunteer Coordinator for Compassus Hospice, Alahna is now the Sales Director for The Waterford at Highland Colony, a senior living center that simultaneously promotes independence and support for its residents.
In her free time, Alahna enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband and CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association) and being involved with her church at St. Mark’s in Brandon. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter, son in law and 4 precious granddaughters when she can!
Not only is Kim our trusty secretary and accountant, she also owns her own accounting business, King Accounting Services, AND a flourishing nail color company: Kim's Killer Nails, an independent rep for ColorStreet. Find contact info for both of her businesses on our Directory page.
Arlette Hulsey Thompson, of Madison, MS, is now in her 15th year as the office manager of Mississippi Magazine. Arlette maintains our group's text alerts and helps to coordinate special events or projects. In her spare time, she is the President of the Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary.
If you would like to sign up for our reminder/text system, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Amanda originally started attending meetings in 2017, and from there, she noticed that the group had a need for a website to help draw in new members and keep current members updated with group happenings. She went on to design, build, and continues to update our Reservoir Career Women website. You can catch her floating around the meeting, taking pics for social media and welcoming new attendees. If you would like to be added to our directory page, please email us email@example.com.
