March Madness has hit Mississippi - and your friends are green with envy that you snagged a spot at the Reservoir Career Women luncheon! When I tell ya'll we fill up fast, we fill up FAST! That's why it is EXTREMELY important that you not only RSVP with lightning speed when you get Alahna's email, but you also let us know if you can't make it, because we do have a wait list. Now on with the blog!

SPOTLIGHT SPEAKER: The March Pollen Monster struck again, and took our Spotlight Speaker with him. Hope you get to feeling better, Katie!!

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Our Keynote Speakers this month were Laura Hester and Margo Evans from The MAX, the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience, located in Meridian, MS. You may know more than a few creative types have been birthed in Mississippi, but did you know there was a place only a short drive from Jackson that housed an immersive experience into the artistic history that exists today? Here, visitors of all ages explore the global impact of Mississippians on music, books, art, entertainment, and cuisine (from their website). They have rotating exhibits, including one for Jim Henson from now until May 4th! For more information, or to become a member of their museum, please visit them online by clicking HERE. You can also view images of events on their Instagram account HERE.

YUM YUM: We are NEVER left wanting at The Blake! This month's lunch featured pork chops, yams with marshmallow topping, green beans, salad, infused waters and tea, and a nice slice of pecan pie. Get in my belly!
